You may be wondering why Ardentis Dental Clinics undertake clinical research projects and publish in scientific journals. What’s in it for us?
Ardentis has a long history of scientific research, with our first article being published in 1997 in the International Journal of Periodontology. It describes an interesting case which was important to share with peers in the profession. Twenty-one years later, Ardentis practitioners have authored 66 publications.
Improving our techniques and implementing the latest innovations are key to dentistry. Patients can benefit from the best equipment and practices, which allow for reliable, accessible and quick treatment. At Ardentis, we are always eager to invest in new state-of-the-art equipment and to lead the way in its ground-breaking approach to dental care, by applying the latest evidence-based scientific data (evidence-based practice). In this way, patients can reap the benefits provided by the latest technologies and optimised protocols used at the Ardentis group. We are committed to boosting progress in clinical research, therefore fulfilling patients’ expectations and our values.
The group invests in applied research and, every year, our dentists are invited to present their work at international conferences. Research at Ardentis promotes an inclusive vision, a wealth of knowledge and, above all, multi-disciplinary collaboration. We do this using the knowledge and technological opportunities available. The demand and rigour needed for scientific research are drivers of excellence and progress for every practitioner at the Ardentis Group.
Most articles about studies undertaken by Ardentis have been published in renowned peer-reviewed journals. The review panel, made up of experts in their field, approves the quality of the work carried out and the relevance of the presented results. The art of clinical practice at our clinics is therefore, in effect, approved by our peers. As a result, the innovation that Ardentis has thoroughly tested can be applied in full knowledge of the proven results and witnessed efficiency.
A good clinical research article is one that presents a study and its results, which interests practitioners, bringing added value to patients and opening new horizons.
