Point value and pricing, how does it work?
The invoice for your dental treatment is made up of three elements: the practitioner’s fee, the laboratory fee, and the material fee. See an invoice sample
Each service provided by your dentist corresponds to a number of points according to the DENTOTAR tariff. The calculation of your practitioner’s fees is done by multiplying the number of tariff points by the value of the point of the clinic (eg: CHF 1.10 in Lausanne).
The number of points for each service reflects not only the time required to complete a service, but also its degree of difficulty. The price of the various services is therefore based on a transparent calculation of the costs of a model practice.
